Persian legend. Ruler's name and titles (from bottom to top: [Sikkah mubarak] / Badshah Gahzi / Muhammad Akbar Shah = Auspicious coin of the Emperor, Warrior against the infidels, Muhammad Akbar Shah). Date (123x) at top. Ornaments of dots in field. Linear circle and circle of dots on border.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (from bottom to top: Raig[ar]h [Zar]b / sanah 27 julus / maimanat manus = Struck at Rajgarh, (in the) year 27 (of his) reign associated with prosperity). Ornaments of dots in field.
